Salvador Cândido Brandão Junior is highly specialized in Tax Law, providing consultancy and developing defenses and theses to protect taxpayers' rights. A lawyer with a career spanning nearly 20 years, he was a member of the Administrative Council for Tax Appeals (CARF), where he dealt with IPI, IOF, CIDE, PIS/COFINS, import tax and customs issues. He was also a judge at the São Paulo Tax Court (TIT-SP), where for 6 years he participated in ICMS judgments; such experiences become differentials in serving clients, as they provide multidisciplinary and strategic resolutions to demands. In addition, a major highlight of his work is that he has a broad view of situations, which allows him to add important ideas to the process in line with his technical knowledge.
Salvador holds a master's degree and a doctorate in Tax Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) Law School. He also teaches and researches subjects related to Tax Law at several renowned academic institutions, such as the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV-SP) and the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), where he also co-coordinates the specialization course.
